Get a good taste of the multiplayer gamplay pitched by Call of Duty®: Black Ops III
Have a crack at this test run to see how things are shaping up in Call of Duty: Black Ops III. Enjoy the multiplayer with it its several gameplay styles while you drench your eyes in good looking graphics and smooth mechanics.
Appealing because it's Call of Duty
Call of Duty: Black Ops III will attract players because it’s CoD, but the general idea is that things haven’t been going great. Through the beta, you can see and get a firsthand feel on how things work. From a novice point of view, someone who’s just diving into CoD, it’s going to be one super fast streak of dying while you get some glimpses of how things work.
Getting max video settings out of it is crucial to how your gameplay unfolds since low-quality graphics considerably affects your reaction time and focus. Not to mention that matchmaking will pitch you against players with ten and even twenty levels over you which is enough to cut your multiplayer deathmatch appetite. However,if you’re fit to let go of the skill difference, you’ll easily notice how well the weapons behave, the great movement mechanics, excellent audio and tons more of positive facts when it comes to core game design.
As far as the specialists go, they’re fun to play but useless in a lot of cases. So, base you CoD decision on other factors such as movement, pace and feel of the game.
A good deal of freedom for both customization and movement
One of the biggest chunks of the gameplay is the movement mechanics and how it all works. Without hesitation, I’d gladly say that moving around in Call of Duty: Black Ops III will be loads of fun and with a big impact on how you play the game. Wall running is very well implemented, and it adds a lot to the pace and general freedom.
I could argue that it helps you a lot with developing your play style because there are a lot of ways in which the jump thrust can get you into trouble rather than secure a kill. Nonetheless, it’s taken down a lot in comparison to Advanced Warfare, making gameplay a bit more ‘grounded’.
If fast-paced action is what you’re looking for, multiplayer in Call of Duty: Black Ops III will mop the floor with you if you're a newbie. However, give it some time, get used to the weapons, think your loadouts and it can easily offer one of the most fun FPS experiences you’ve had.
It’s evolved a bit, but it will be a love-hate relationship
Call of Duty: Black Ops III, from what we’ve seen in the multiplayer beta, has sparked a lot of debate as to where the franchise is going. As you would expect, everyone will take a side, and you’ll never get the right answer. What you can do is try it and see for yourself. The gameplay won’t disappoint.
